Melanin suspension: perfect for hair.

The melanin is best for your hair but it really is an all purpose melanin that can be used for other applications.

Our food-grade formula is crafted from edible sources (e.g., seed hulls/plant materials). If you prefer an ingestible route, you can use this product as a culinary supplement-style powder—simply mix a measured serving into your favorite drink or recipe.

Wash your hair. Use a gentle cleanser, rinse thoroughly, and squeeze out excess water.

  1. Dry your hair. Towel-dry to damp (not dripping) and detangle so the product spreads evenly.

  2. Apply the black melanin suspension. Shake well, rub a small amount between your palms, then work it through mid-lengths to ends (light at roots if you want volume).

  3. Hair-dry to set. Blow-dry on low/cool until fully dry, brushing or combing to distribute; add a second thin layer if you want more depth.

  4. Seal with a light oil. Smooth 1–3 drops of a lightweight oil (e.g., squalane or argan) over the surface to help the pigment lay down and lock in shine; let it set a few minutes before styling.

Start with clean, detangled hair and dispense a small amount into your palms. Rub it into your hair from mid-lengths to ends, then use a hair dryer on low heat to set and add sheen. Comb or brush to distribute evenly, adding a touch more only where you want extra depth. Build in thin layers, letting each pass settle for a minute so it stays light and non-greasy. For volume, keep product off the first inch at the roots and finish with a cool shot to lock in the look.

If you're going to put it on the skin, you just rub it right in and let it dry. Apply in very thin layers to clean, comfortable skin, focusing on areas where you want subtle tone. You can keep doing it over and over once it dries. You could put it in all day, refreshing with micro-layers rather than one heavy coat. Allow each layer a moment to set before dressing to avoid transfer and keep the finish smooth.
